Luca Sapio is from Roma, Italy.

Known as the Italian soul ambassador, he is a singer-songwriter and a record producer.

After a decade spent in singing, producing and recording for artists including Tony Scott, Eumir Deodato, Elton Dean, Area, Don Moyè, Juliette Lewis, in 2012 he released his solo album entitled “Who Knows”. The album reached the German and French charts and was awarded as best independent record by SIAE, the italian copyright collecting agency.

Consolidating the relationship between him and the producer Thomas Brenneck in 2014 he released his sophomore album “Everyday Is Gonna Be The Day”.

From his solo debut he had the chance to share the stage with artists as Paul Weller, Trombone Shorty, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings and appeared as “special guest star” in National TV shows as the “Dave Letterman Show”, “Die Harald Schmidt”, "C&A vous" and many others.

In 2015, following the path of the soulful independent labels from the late 60's and mid 70's, Luca launched his own record label: “Blind Faith Records”.

Building from the scratch his recording studio he founded a collective of musicians and arrangers called the Italian Royal Family, formerly known as the Blind Faith Studio house band.

In the same year he recorded, mixed and produced “Three Gees” for the multi awarded Malian superstar Baba Sissoko feat. the  bluesman Corey Harris.

In 2016 he wrote, recorded, mixed and produced “Singing For The Good Times” for the legendary "funky diva" Miss Martha High.

In 2017 he wrote, recorded, mixed and produced “The World That We Live In” for the blues singer Sugaray Rayford, candidated as best soul blues album at the 39th Blues Music Awards.

In 2018 he recorded, mixed and produced "Fasiya" for Baba Sissoko and his daughter Djana featuring the afro wiz Max Weissefeldt on drums.

He is currently working on several new albums as songwriter, mix engineer, recordist and producer, included the new Martha High's one and his third long-awaited solo album.

Luca is also a music journalist and a radio host. His shows were broadcasted live daily on the Italian National Radio 1 and 2 from 2014 til now.
